Project Executive Summary
The Business Problem
Shopify merchants encounter severe operational bottlenecks: Basic plans restrict staff accounts to 1-2 users, Shopify POS hardware is expensive and proprietary, local fiscal regulations (such as Egypt's ETA e-Receipt mandate) require complex digital signing and clearance APIs, and native Shopify bundles often create inventory desynchronization across sales channels.
Architecture & Engineering Solution
Engineered a modular multi-engine architecture on Next.js, TypeScript, and high-concurrency background queues. Built a role-based access control (RBAC) proxy giving merchants unlimited staff logins with fine-grained permission control. Developed a universal Cloud POS supporting any standard ESC/POS 80mm thermal receipt printer and USB/Bluetooth barcode scanner. Created an automated ETA gateway that signs, validates, and dispatches fiscal e-receipts directly upon transaction finalization. Engineered a composite bundle inventory engine that deducts raw component inventory in real time.
